The “Fish Wheelin'” Experience

I spent all night trying to catch flying auroras in this fish wheel along the Tanana River near Nenana, Interior Alaska. I caught lots of green auroras but threw most of them back after feasting my eyes on these rare pink northern lights splashing in the fish basket.

Instead of having catch of the day on the menu this was the "Catch of the Night" and it fed me well! March 31, 2015 near 4 am.
