Free to Fly

The “Free to Fly” Experience

An angelic aurora spreads its wings and soars over Panorama Peak in the Alaska Range north of Cantwell, AK just before midnight on October 17, 2025.

On this spectacular night the auroras blew the roof off when the clouds parted and bright northern lights fanned above me with red colors that I could see with my naked eye! That's a rare occurrence and it was a freeing feeling witnessing such a sight flying straight above me. * Star note: the box pattern of stars on the right wing of the aurora is Pegasus, the “Winged Horse.”
