Go Deep

The “Go Deep” Experience

Magenta auroras draw me deep into the rose-shaded forest near Portage Lake, Alaska during the Veterans Day big red show on November 11, 2025 near 6:30 pm. That's crazy early and it was unbelievably beautiful!

The title comes from my desire to go deep into Nature ~ mentally, physically, spiritually ~ and to experience it in its purest form because it helps me stay balanced. The title also comes from my youth. While playing wide receiver in football, I used to love it when the quarterback or coach would yell Go Deep Salat! In this case, I would never think of tracking up that pristine pink snowfield by running & diving for a long football pass... although that does sound kinda fun. The auroras just make me want to go deep!
