Kiss the Sky

Hot pink auroras radiate over Portage Valley, Alaska at 6:40 pm on Veterans Day, November 11, 2025 — dual CME impacts created a geomagnetic storm visible in all 50 US states.

The “Kiss the Sky” Experience

Hot pink auroras radiate over Portage Valley, Alaska during the Veterans Day show of November 11, 2025 starting at an unbelievably early 6 pm. This widespread display was seen in all 50 US states and I know it was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen!

The huge aurora event was generated when the energy of two full-halo Coronal Mass Ejections emitted by the sun impacted Earth at the same time and BLAMMO! Excuse me while I kiss the sky!
